it can work…
not only are they sleek and chic, but they are super comfy. i prefer them over the tight-in-the-hips traditonal fit jeans!
here are a couple alternative denim jackets that you can get instead of the $275 one featured in “Just Another Casual Day” and “Keeping It Simple“.
i really love high end brand clothing…especially when it comes to making investment purchases…however i haven’t been able to talk myself into purchasing a 1000 dollar (or more) trench coat. yep, you know what i’m talking about, the classic burberry trench.
however, there are alternatives. here’s a very high quality and classic looking nylon trench (with no labels) made by banana republic that only costs $130. i think i can use this coat for the mean time while i wait until the day i win the lottery. and, so can you!
the black pencil skirt…it can be worn in so many different ways…and still look effortless, chic, classic, stylish…the words go on and on…
dress it up…
dress it down…
dress it down some more…
for work…
cold outside?
i had a pair of oxfords back in 8th grade…they were a little chunkier than the more trendy ones we see today, but they were cool to me! i’m glad to see that they are making a comeback. the less chunky more chic oxfords will definitely make a longer lasting appearance in my closet. here are a very affordable pair made by steve madden (on sale, 49.95), definitely comparable to the ones featured in “Keeping It Simple” and on Jessica Alba. they are comfortable, super cute, and cheap in price but not in aesthetics!
the motorcycle denim jacket and summer sandals adds some casualness to this more dressy grecian style dress.
take a dip in the price of this ultra cute retro swimsuit…
the same exact swimsuit is on sale at anthropologie.com for $99.95 rather than $198 on urbanoutfitters.com
